We Design & Build Kitchens, Bathrooms & Home Additions
Design-Build Remodeling Done Right, One Team, One Process, Zero Chasing.
Most Homeowners Don't Hire a Contractor. They Hire a Second Job.
You call, they show up for the estimate, and then the silence begins. You're texting for updates. You're coordinating trades. You're chasing someone down just to find out what happened today. Meanwhile, your kitchen is torn apart, your family is eating takeout, and nobody seems to be in charge.
That's not a remodeling experience. That's a management problem you paid someone else to create.
There's a better way.

This Is Remodeling the Way It Should Work.
Canopy Building Services is a design-build remodeling firm serving the Main Line, Delaware County, and Chester County. We handle everything: the design, the planning, the materials, the trades, and the daily management of your project, so you never have to wonder what's happening or who's responsible.
You bring us the problem. We handle the rest.
Whether you know exactly what you want or you're starting with nothing more than "I hate this kitchen," Canopy is built to take it from there. One team, one point of contact, one accountable process from the first conversation to the final walkthrough.

How a Canopy Project Works
Stage 01: The First Call
You reach out and Alana, our office manager, walks you through what you're looking for at a high level. She'll make sure we're a good fit for each other before anything else happens.
Stage 02: The Assessment
Ray, our VP of Sales, comes to your home for an in-depth assessment. Depending on the scope, this can take an hour or two. He listens, asks the right questions, and starts translating your idea into an actual project.
Stage 03: Design & Pre-Construction
Once you're on board, our COO Jeff and project manager Matt work through the pre-construction details, bringing in our architect and interior design support as needed. Every selection, every specification, handled before the first tool comes out.
Stage 04: Construction & Daily Communication
Our crew is on site every day. Your crew lead checks in with you each morning with the day's plan and again at the end of the day with an update. Everything is documented in BuilderTrend: schedules, photos, change orders, payments, and selections, all in one place.
When the work is done, we walk through it with you. Every item is accounted for before we consider the job complete, and our two-year labor warranty means we're still accountable long after the last day on site.
Why Homeowners on the Main Line Choose Canopy
We answer the phone.
It sounds basic because it should be. When you call Canopy, a real person picks up. When you have a question mid-project, you have a direct number. No voicemail black holes, no waiting days for a callback.
You'll never have to chase us for an update.
Our crew leads connect with you every morning and every evening during active construction. You know what's happening today and what's coming tomorrow, every single day, without having to ask.
One team manages everything.
Design, architecture, materials, trades, logistics, scheduling. Drew coordinates every delivery. Matt manages every phase. You don't coordinate anything. That's the job we're here to do.
You can see everything, anytime.
We use BuilderTrend, the same project management platform the industry's top builders rely on. Schedules, photos, selections, change orders, and payment history, all visible to you at any time.
We stand behind the work.
Most contractors offer a one-year labor warranty. Ours is two years. We're confident enough in our work to back it up, and we're still reachable if something needs attention after we're gone.
No surprise invoices.
Every change to scope is documented and priced before work continues. What you agreed to is what you're billed for.
Meet the Team Behind Your Project

Chris Earley
Founder
Chris has been working in and around homes since 2007, first as a home inspector and now as the founder of Canopy. That inspection background matters: he's seen firsthand what happens when remodeling goes wrong, and he built Canopy around fixing exactly that.

Jeff Schiller
Chief Operating Officer
Jeff holds a master's degree in business from Duke and spent five years with another local remodeling company before joining Canopy. He's the person making sure every project runs the way it's supposed to.

Ray Sundo
VP of Sales
Ray comes from the design-build world and is typically the first person you'll meet in person. He listens, asks the right questions, and makes sure your project is scoped and priced accurately before anything starts.

Matt Tamayo
Project Manager
Matt came to Canopy from Nolan Painting with deep experience managing painting and remodeling projects. He's your day-to-day point of contact once construction begins.

Drew Lukens
Logistics Director
Materials, deliveries, dump trailers, purchasing. Drew handles all of it so the job site has what it needs, when it needs it, without interruption.

Alana Talarico
Office Manager
Alana has been with Canopy from nearly the beginning. She's usually the first voice you'll hear and the steady hand that keeps communication running smoothly throughout your project.
What Our Clients Are Saying
Homeowners across Delaware County and the Main Line trust Canopy with their biggest projects. Here's what they have to say.
I had a fantastic experience working with Jeff and the crew at Canopy Building Services. From day one, the entire scope of work and project timeline were laid out with complete transparency—no guesswork or hidden surprises.
If you are looking for a team that treats your project like it's their own home, Canopy is it. Having completely renovated our entire home in the past, we have worked with plenty of contractors—but our experience with Canopy building our outdoor pool house has been hands-down one of the best experiences we've ever had.
Canopy did a full demo and remodel of our master bath. They took the time to help us determine the best way to reconfigure the room given its small size. Any questions or concerns we had during the remodel were addressed and taken care of by Jeff and his staff. We are so pleased with the quality of the construction and the final product is just gorgeous.

Canopy Building Services: 2025 Best of Main Line
We're proud to be recognized as a 2025 Best of Main Line distinction winner, a reflection of the clients who trusted us with their homes and took the time to share their experience.
Serving the Main Line, Delaware County & Chester County
Canopy is based in Media, PA and works throughout the western suburbs of Philadelphia. Our service area covers the communities where we do our best work: established neighborhoods with older homes ready for a serious update, and newer suburbs where growing families are ready to invest in the space they already have.
We regularly serve Media, Springfield, Swarthmore, Wallingford, Broomall, Newtown Square, Glen Mills, Garnet Valley, Aston, West Chester, Malvern, Exton, Downingtown, and Chadds Ford, as well as select Philadelphia neighborhoods including Society Hill, Rittenhouse, Chestnut Hill, and Graduate Hospital.
Not sure if you're in our area? Give us a call. The larger the project, the further we'll travel.
Ready to Stop Managing Your Contractor and Start Enjoying Your Home?
Most remodeling projects don't go wrong because of bad craftsmanship. They go wrong because nobody was in charge. At Canopy, that's exactly what we fix. One team, one process, one accountable point of contact from the first conversation to the final walkthrough.
If you're ready to talk through your project, we're ready to listen. Reach out today and we'll schedule a time for Ray to come out and see the space.
