Outdoor Pavilion & Custom Bar
This outdoor pavilion was transformed into a fully finished entertainment space centered around a custom-built L-shaped bar. Designed to feel cohesive with the existing pool and spa area, the project combines durable outdoor materials with warm architectural details to create a space built for both everyday use and entertaining.
The bar was constructed with a Steel Gray granite countertop and wrapped in a Split Grey and Ohio White stacked-stone blend selected to coordinate with the existing spa stone. Stainless-steel cabinetry and an outdoor refrigerator provide practical storage and functionality, while a shiplap feature wall and custom barn-beam shelf introduce warmth and texture to the space.
Lighting played an important role in the finished design. Edison-style string lights create ambient overhead lighting, while integrated LED lighting beneath the bar top and along the bar and stone pillars adds another layer of illumination for evenings outdoors. The pavilion was also outfitted for a ceiling fan, mounted television, additional electrical access and a full-height storage room clad in Hardie board.
The finishing touches extended beyond the bar itself, including new black gutters and downspouts integrated into the existing underground drainage system—helping ensure the finished pavilion looks polished while remaining functional in every season.
